S.C Holding Friendly Basketball Game to Celebrate Army Day

In order to further enhance the friendship between military and civilians and realize the prospect that “Soldiers and people are family”, our company organized a spectacular basketball game with Henggang Firefighting Squad.

July 29th was a hot sunny day. Both team members of our company and firefighters are enthusiastic and inspired. They are excited to participate in the game. In the afternoon, with the referee's first whistle, the game started.

The atmosphere is very active during the whole game. Two teams tried to overtake each other on the score all the time, both offensive and defensive. Those players not only showed professional basketball skills: dribbling, shooting and other skills played consummately, but also showed their noble personalities. Each player fought for their team till the end with indomitable spirits of sport. Even their scores trailed behind their opponents, they never gave up. Finally, the game drew to a successful close with our company’s team narrowly beating firemen with the score 67:63.

The friendly basketball game further promoted civil-military unity, enhanced understanding, deepened communication between them and laid a solid foundation for continuous and friendly military-civilian cooperation.
